Position Details:
  • This position will be In-Office at our client's facility in Redmond, WA
  • Pay range: $90,000-120,000

Primary Function:
The Inventory Lead will be responsible for managing the inventory for all incoming and outgoing products and supplies. In addition, the Inventory lead will create and implement inventory management processes to maximize efficiencies.   For the right person, there is strong potential for long-term growth and leading a team.

Essential Job Functions - Responsibilities:
  • Conduct inventory transfers and execute inventory adjustments
  • Develop and document proper inventory management processes and standards to meet company goals
  • Investigate and resolve inconsistencies with inventory
  • Use ERP and other resources to monitor demand and to forecast potential inventory issues
  • Prepare reports on inventory operations, stock levels, and adjustments
  • Schedule and perform cycle counts
  • Track and report on non-conforming, damaged, or obsolete parts/products
  • Make recommendations to leadership about improvements in inventory life cycle
  • Follow Business Technology policies to protect sensitive data and reduce information security occurrences.

Education and Experience: (Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities)
  • Associates of Science or equivalent required
  • Minimum of 5 of relevant work experience preferred
  • Experience with ISO9001 and AS9100
  • Knowledge of supply chain life cycle (including accounting impacts and cost centers)
  • Self-starter mindset and the ability to create and implement processes
  • Experience working with bills of materials (BOMs)
  • Strong written and verbal English language communication skills
  • Excellent teamwork/interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively, both within and outside one's own work group
  • Demonstrate commitment and adherence to Sigma Design Core Values
  • Pass a post-offer background verification

Work Environment
Standard warehouse/production environment which requires regular sitting, standing, bending, reaching, and moving about the facility. Must be able to stand and work as long as 12 hours in different positions. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted. Temperature of work area may be affected by outside temperatures.
