Mechatronics Test Engineer

Professionally I am a mechatronics-focused engineer. So far, my career has been that of a generalist. I am constantly learning how to use new software, learning about new hardware, developing simple software, and more. If I ever have a chance to specialize or focus, I can see myself transitioning to a more software-based role in the future.

Outside of the workplace, I am a seasoned gamer: video games, board games, card games, and more. I've been playing Magic: The Gathering for almost 30 years and my video game experience spans almost every console from the 1990's to today in addition to PC gaming. I also enjoy motorcycling and generally spending time outside in nature.

Questions & Answers

How do you make people laugh?

I have been told that I am particularly good at imitating voices, so often I will use that to my advantage and use movie quotes and such when they are relevant to an ongoing conversation.

What's your favorite productivity hack or time-saving trick?

I don't think I have anything truly meaningful to add here other than the fact that I find it very helpful to take breaks when work is feeling slow - it often gives you a moment to reflect that helps you continue after said break.
