CNC Machinist

I am 35 years old and have lived in Washington for most my life. Upon finishing my Bachelor's degree I found a particular interest in engineering/ machining. After working in several different machine shops I really found a passion for working with CNC machines. I found it fascinating to turn a raw block of material into an airplane part. I hope going further to continue my education and skills in not only setting up and running CNC machines but to also getting training to program one day. I hope all of this pays off by joining Sigma Design!

How do you make people laugh?

My face usually does the trick :)

If you were a tool or piece of equipment, what would you be and why?

Micrometers because I like to be extremely precise. I feel this tool best fits my character and personality traits.

What's your favorite productivity hack or time-saving trick?

Favorite time saving trick would be looping programs in G Code so I can run more parts at once. Instead of loading one piece of material at a time if I have the room in the CNC machine I could setup the same program/ part in different areas allowing me to possibly load and run three to four parts at a time instead of just one.
