This can encompass anything from leading and supporting a project, creating documentation and drawings, to helping out with builds on the assembly and packaging lines. I enjoy various aspects of engineering which include hands on work mixed with administrative functions. I have experience in Design Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, Warranty Engineering, and some wire harness design engineering. While working at Sigma Design I have been able to use my past experience to help achieve various goals and exceed customer expectations.
Questions & Answers
How do you make people laugh?
I like interacting with people and finding out what we have in common whether it be our taste in music, movies, food, or weekend activates. Taking time to have a 5 minute conversation can help the day go by a bit faster and we might learn something new and interesting about each other. I really appreciate our Culture Club for putting on various events where we can take time to laugh and socialize in a fun setting.
If you were a tool or piece of equipment, what would you be and why?
A No. 2 pencil: nice and sturdy, familiar to work with, has infinite potential for creativity in any media whether it be drawing, sketching, or writing, and comes with an eraser to fix any mistakes that may come up.
What's your favorite productivity hack or time-saving trick?
I like to start my day with a "to-do" list having the 2 or 3 "must do" items at the top to keep me focused. Our days can get fuzzy with meetings and side-quests that may come up here and there, so having a top 2 or 3 things that must get done "today" or "this week" can help me keep my eye on the ball and not get lost in the sauce.
