I finished my PhD in Mechanical Engineering at Washington State University in August 2026, during my dissertation work I developed some of the first insect-scale autonomous swimmers driven by shape memory alloy technology. Outside of my previous research I also enjoy hiking, biking, fishing, and jiu-jitsu.

If you were a tool or piece of equipment, what would you be and why?
I would be a CNC machine because they are just cool.
I use OneNote a lot to organize to-do lists and break down larger tasks into smaller ones.
