I worked as a car mechanic in German Car Dealerships (BMW, Porsche and Audi) for  almost 4 years before joining the Portland Air National Guard. There I spent a little over 10 years as a full-time F-15 mechanic. I have a wide range of experience in program  management, mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting, problem solving, team dynamics, and communication skills. I have deployed to Savannah Georgia, Nellis AFB, Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Andrews AFB, Eglin AFB, the Netherlands, Bulgaria, Romania, Singapore, Guam, and Puerto Rico. I joined the civilian work force for the first time in over a decade coming here to Sigma Design to prioritize and support my family better. I’m excited to be here and cant wait to take on new challenges. I am still serving in the United States Air Force as a Drill Status Guardsman, but I've also gone through a recent career change there as well. I am no longer an F-15 maintenance specialist but have moved into the role of Unit Training Manager.

Specific skills:
Troubleshooting, maintaining and performing preventative maintenance F-15C/D/EX  aircraft Electrical and Environmental systems. This includes power generation, cabin pressurization, bleed air distribution and conditioning, avionics liquid and pneumatic cooling, liquid and gaseous oxygen storage and distribution, cryogenic containers, lighting, total wiring infrastructure, control circuits, relay panels and circuit protection.
I’m very comfortable working in a cross-functional environment to accomplish a wide array of challenges. I care deeply about all my teammates and want everyone to succeed. I do not believe in hoarding knowledge. I believe there are always opportunities for process improvement.

Programs managed:
As the career field subject matter expert for F-15 Electrical and Environmental systems at the Portland Air National Guard Base I became the primary POC for the F-15EX Conversion Team. I've worked with career field managers to develop new training plans to certify maintainers across the Air Force on specific changes to the new F-15. I also developed the Alert Facility requirements, Backshop Support Equipment and Facility requirements, military mobilization equipment, manning and spare parts requirements, as well as provided hands-on training to several groups of maintainers. I've coordinated extensively with Boeing Field Service Representatives, Boeing and Air Force Engineering, and our local
Quality Assurance office on changes to Standard Operating Procedures, Technical Data changes to Work Instructions and Job Guides, providing feedback on new product deficiencies that ultimately led to changes at the manufacturer for certain aircraft life support system components.

Shop Stock/Bench Stock/Operating Stock
Hazardous Materials Process Development, Disposal, Transportation, Usage, SDS Binder and training of any aspect of the program as needed.
Ground Support Equipment operation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair. Including the development of new preventative maintenance plans to put new equipment into service.
Precision Measuring equipment management, monitoring calibration cycles, advising team members of limited calibration items Tooling and Equipment Accountability.
Resource Management overseeing the $500,000 budget for a squadron of roughly 250 personnel for annual Base Operating Costs.
