How long has SIGMADESIGN been in the Camas facility?
We moved to the building in May of 2017. Previously, SIGMADESIGN was in downtown Vancouver occupying several buildings. The need for a larger headquarters with everyone under one roof was the reason for finding and moving to the Camas facility.
Who was in the Camas building prior to SIGMADESIGN?
The facility was previously used by Heraeus Shin-Etsu America (a division of the same company that operates SEH America in Vancouver) to manufacture high purity quartz crucibles for the silicon wafer industry.
How did SIGMADESIGN update the design of the building?
SIGMADESIGN completely gutted and remodeled the building to meet the needs of the company and its clients. Below is the preliminary floor plan for the main level of the facility. As our needs change, we are developing areas to fit our evolving and expanded services.
What services does SIGMADESIGN offer at this building?
We offer concept through production services and give tours of the building with clients or visitors following the concept through production process. Our entrance is where it all begins. Visitors sign in using the tracking app we developed.

Front reception area at SIGMADESIGN HQ in Camas, Washington
To head upstairs we use the expansive staircase designed by our Industrial Designers. In the photo below, Bill Huseby, President and Owner of SIGMADESIGN, is being interviewed and filmed for one of our videos in front of the staircase. To the left you’ll find testing and manufacturing labs. To the right you’ll find our assembly labs and shop. Having services that span the product development process all under one roof enables collaboration between designers, engineers, technicians and maker professionals.
Upstairs is where our professional disciplines work on a variety of projects from medical products, to consumer electronics, wearables, large automation systems and more.
We combine collaborative design and engineering services with prototyping, fabrication, assembly, testing and manufacturing to craft solid and appealing products for our varied clients.
If you missed it before, you can take this “quick tour” of our headquarters. We have a few more remodeling projects in progress.
It’s shaping up to be an incredible year. We are so thankful to be working with great clients on great projects. We really appreciate your business and would love to hear from you, so contact us anytime. We’d love to help with your next project.
